About Us
Welcome to Total Concept Developments
Total Concept Developments is a family operated business that was started in 1981 with the development of a 10 unit townhouse project in Kamloops, BC. Total Concept was started by Casey and Marilyn VanDongen and is now operated by Casey VanDongen and his daughter Sheila Minten. Total Concept has been involved in development throughout British Columbia, although the main focus has been in Kamloops where they reside. They have a passion for downtown Kamloops where their office is located.
Their focus is developing multi family housing, with an inclusion of commercial space. They love a challenge and where some people see a problem, they see it as an opportunity to how they can make it work. Total Concept was the first developer to develop an air space project in Kamloops when they partnered with the TNRD on a public, private partnership development that included a library, commercial space and residential apartments. Library Square was also the first six story wood frame building in BC. This concept is now being used in other developments in Kamloops.
In addition to development Total Concept has partner companies that assist with their construction and property management. Tri City Canada is their partner construction company. V7 Properties is the residential property management company and Kamvan Holdings and VF Enterprises are their commercial property manager partner. Total Concept and their partner companies make this full service for their developments from start to finish and through the warranty stage.
